Ok, I took some shots of the Ebay switch which is the same as the one in the unit. Except the shaft is different. Butt he shafts are interchangeable. Also some shots of the Reverb Board. I'm going to swap out hose two diodes now. Just another shot in the dark. They did test good in circuit on diode check with my Fluke 8808A 6 digit DVM.

    Here's the pic's

On the second last picture, look at C28. Is that cap installed backwards?

Yep..sharp eye's Leaker. I'm aloud one backwards cap out of the 20 I replaced L.O.L. on that board. Anyway It checked good even being in backwards. But I installed a new one and checked it with the LC103. Fired up the unit and still ...Audio in the off position ...Next click Mic only... that works...but no reverb...Light comes on ( That's what Board #13 & 14 run from the switch) ...Then next click is supposed to be Audio and reverb and Mix. I get the reverb light but totally nothing else. That cap that was in backwards is in the delay line control feed.

I'm still leaning towards that switch or a defect ( Cold Joint ...Broken trace) or something ???

Anyway tim for Lunch. Gives you time and me also to ponder WTF!!! L.O.L.

Unit runs but no speaker output kenwood KR-6030
          by DrDos
I have finished my work. The new lights come on except the one for stereo, I reversed the bulbs to no affect, anyway, the unit powers on, relay clicks. I have no DC voltage in speaker outputs, I also do not have any AC in the speaker outputs. There is some faint crackling in the speaker. This unit cranks up loud so I had the volume on very low. Everything seems to be fine but I can't really check the switch until I can get sound out of the outputs. I was going to do caps for the power supplys and the tone board but thought if it was cranking loud at one time maybe just leave it alone until it...

          Hi all,
this unit comes from a samsumg LCD TV LE32C530F1W which stopped working after making a strong noise like something was exploded inside of it.
I opened it and found that fuse FP801S was blown, capacitor CP814 was completely disintegrated and MOSFET QP801S was shorted.
I replaced all of them and instead of the fuse I connected a 100 Watt bulb. Then, without connecting it to other TV boards, I switched it on, but the bulb begun to blink.
I thought that maybe the bulb was somehow interfering with the normal operation of the power supply, so I replaced it with a fuse,...

Repair of an LG split AC system indoor unit PCB
          by ngml
I am trying to repair an LG split AC indoor unit, which does not start and gives a CH05 error code.
This indicates an error in the communication between the outdoor and the indoor unit.
The outdoor unit is fine, so the problem is the indoor PCB.
The indoor unit is an LG PC09SQ NSJ (3SNM09JA2FA), and the PCB has the following type number: EAX35907219-1.2 (see photo1)
I changed optocouplers ICO1X & ICO2X and the NPN transistor S9013 which drives optocoupler ICO2X (see photo2), but this did not remedy the fault.

Does anybody have the schematics of this board,...

HP 15dy-2021nr wont power on mystery volts
          by supermattch
          Hi everyone.

I am diagnosing my personal laptop, because it wont power on and no leds light up.

At the dc-in there are 8 pins, 1 and 2 shows healthy 19.66 volts. The next three are ground, but the 6th one shows .283 volts. This is strange to me, it should be 3.3 or 5 or aome volts not 0.283v. As I am new to this, I would like some guidance. Please someone advise me on what to check next.

Oh the boardview and schematics I am using is for a similar model as I cannot find the proper one anywhere. Quanta DA0P5HMB8F1 rev F. Nowhere on the internet.
