    Arcam AVR 850 question

    Hi all

Does anyone know, what voltage should be present at a Collector pin of output transistors (NJL3281DG and NJL1302DG)? Arcam calls those two rails +VLIFT and -VLIFT. Sadly, I'm getting from a separate power supply board (large caps and bunch of mosfets) +60V and -35V. Pretty sure, these should have the same value.

    Thanks in advance.

Arcam FMJ A29 Stero Amp - schematic diagram of power supply
    by birchy7
Hi, I'm hoping someone on here can supply or point me in the right direction for a service sheet for the above amp.
Its on the bench, no power, all 3 fuses on main board are intact. no voltages are coming out of the mains tranformer, but it is recieving its input voltages ok, theres a relay in circuit with the transformer that might be my problem, either that or the transformer itself, would love to have the circuit diagram just to see how exactly this operates, many thanks in advance...cheers

EDIT, sorry made a typo, its the ARCAM FMJ-A29 i need, not A32, sorry all

    Arcam AVR400 No sound
    by nodols
Bought an Arcam AVR400 FMJ with no sound and no VFD display. I've plugged in to TV and it has display.

I've checked the VFD and it's toast, I don't know where to source it so if anybody has suggestions please let me know.

However, the main issue really is the No Sound to speakers.

I have connected a signal generator to the RCA CD input, and signal stops at the IC101 Renesas R2A15218FP IC. -7V and +7V power supply is there. On this IC101, mute is on pin 51, Clock on pin 50, and Data on pin 49.

Pin 51 - mute is logic low (no voltage) so I'm...

ONN 100012588 Has fluctuating Voltage on PSU 12v
    by triplefour
Hello all got another TV here im puzzled by. why cant they all be easy fixes that just need a little love and some tape???

anyway i go to this guys house to look at an ONN 100012588
this is my first time looking at one of these brand of TV's.
TBH i have low expectations because i see ONN as the cheap walmart brand that suddenly popped up selling the cheapest version of all kinds of tech things. and someone sent me a ONN flash drive with some data on it with some recordings they wanted me to check out and it immediately broke and corrupted the data and i was unable to...

Dell XPS 15 9520 BIOS Password
    by Kuro_Ni
    Hi!

This is my first post over here, and I hope I'm properly following the instructions.

I recently got a XPS 15 9520 that (sadly) has an admin password, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but this model has support for RAID using the 2 NVMe slots.

Using bios-pw is sadly not an option since it has an 8FC8 suffix. I tried dumping the BIOS and patching it since I just got a CH341A and a clamp. Sadly, I was not able to properly attach it since I believe the clamp I got is of really bad quality and I have no confidence in my soldering skills. I would greatly...

    PNP transistor symbol?
    by SuperAman
I have a question about PNP transistor symbol. Usually the emitter arrow pointing in the direction of the base is at top where the collector would be. I got asked on a test where the arrow is pointing toward the base but was in the spot of the collector. The answer choices was PNP or NPN and forward biased or reverse biased. So is it a PNP that is forward biased or reverse biased? Usually on the schematics for PNP the Emitter is on the top and collector is on the bottom....
