I have now joined the club. Trying to fix back plate with clicking issue. In my case, 5VDS is present and has correct, +5V value, but once I manually turn sub on, it drops to +2-3V like something was drawing too much current for standby smps to handle with.Does anyone have service manual for this particular model?
Thanks in advance.

Shorting J260, puts MPU's "MODE" leg (pin 145 of TMP4G9F15FG) to the GDN. If your avr has the same MPU, then try to manually short that pin to GND, but before you do that, check if that pin has 3.3V when avr is on.

Thanks for SM. I've purchased another speaker (apparently dead, with no signs of life) so will swap network module and see if that helps.

Yamaha WX-051 Usb Firmware
Hi
I'm aware that this is rather a very long shot, but does anyone have usb firmware file for Yamaha wx-051 MusicCast speaker? According to Self-Diagnostic function, my speaker has either Checksum error of microprocessor Version or Version/Checksum error of wireless network module (flashing Alarm light). Speaker shows correct model destination written in eeprom and also gets correct IP address when Self-Diagnostic is active.
Thanks in advance.Hi

Arcam AVR 850 question
Hi all
Does anyone know, what voltage should be present at a Collector pin of output transistors (NJL3281DG and NJL1302DG)? Arcam calls those two rails +VLIFT and -VLIFT. Sadly, I'm getting from a separate power supply board (large caps and bunch of mosfets) +60V and -35V. Pretty sure, these should have the same value.
Thanks in advance.

I know, this thread is regarding different models, but I believe yours also have WN9711 module. Read the pdf file from post 7. Perhaps 485 also have those two solder pads.

Re: Help monitor audio gxw-15 subwoofer
What about that swollen cap next to D528? Think it's on the +5V rail which is also used by that black relay.Last edited by dobrykamil; 10-18-2023, 01:15 PM.

Re: Help monitor audio rxw-12 subwoofer
That small transformer is only there to provide positive and negative, standby power rails. All other ones are generated by large-main transformer....

That's the standby psu transformer....

Re: Help monitor audio rxw-12 subwoofer
Don't remember exact value, but VCP is around 16-17V, so VIB should be a bit less than that....

Re: Macbook Air A2337 Question
I've been reading a bit, regarding ic lock, and since apparently sn is stored in nand(s) and has to match cpu, and possibly even bt and wifi address, something tells me that I would have to do dfu restore, and eventually will end up with Activate Mac screen.

Re: Macbook Air A2337 Question
Sorry, I should have clarify that, sure, after NAND replacement laptop still will be IC locked, but was wondering, if I could at least boot into OS and turn off FMI with the help of previous owner. I have his contact details and he is willing to help.

Macbook Air A2337 Question
Hi there
I've recently purchased A2337 with no power issue. Unfortunately upon inspection, I have found that logic board is beyond repair. I know, that both ssd nand still have data on them. I've spoken to prevoius owner who claims that laptop had died on him one day and wouldn't turn on. I'm now waiting on another board to arrive. It's in full working order, except being icloud locked.
I was wondering, if I swap NANDs from faulty board into working board, would it still be IC locked, or laptop would boot into OS nornally?
Thanks in advance.

You most likely have been sent wrong back plate mate....

Re: Yamaha RX-V581 DSP dump files
IC44 and IC48 from RX-V583. Both SPI chips 25Q32FVSIG. DSP circuit does look very similar, so give these a try....

Re: Denon AVR-X2500H burnt HDMI5
It is rather more likely, that you will need to replace MN864788 I'm afraid.

Audio Pro Addon C5A
Hi
Does anyone know, what voltage should be at DC 1 and DC 2 please?
Long story short, initially diode at DC 1 was short open, and blow smps. Replaced all dodgy parts, triple checked all other components, but main fuse is still getting blown. Mosfet transistor, pwm driver, current sence resistor etc. are also taken down. Just a typical damage with fauly smps power supplies. I'm now suspecting, that main transformer could be a culprit.
Can't be bothered with fixing this speaker in the right way, so looking to use an external power supply. I reckon that DC 2 is around 24V,...Last edited by dobrykamil; 01-30-2023, 05:38 PM.
