Yamaha cx-a3040 no hdmi signal

Hi all badcaps member,

I have a Yamaha cx-a3040 which does not detect hdmi input as well as outputting video to the tv, other functions seem to work fine, it can play music if inputting using rca or optical. I'm suspecting the issue is on the digital pcb.

Does this mean the FPGA chips are faulty and need to be replaced? I touched the two DTS chips and they are quite hot, does it mean they too are faulty? I have looked high and low for the service manual but can not locate it on the internet.
