Re: Vacuum Cleaner Speed Controller issues...
). I would like to mention that the pictures are little confusing because the off position on picture looks exactly the same as the off position but it shouldn't be the same. There is little distance between those so after the resetting it, I had to put the regulator to the minimum position but not to the off position otherwise the vacuum cleaner never stops (the built-in plastic regulator couldn't go bellow).
So the complete guide according to the French manual is:
1. vacuum cleaner is off. Set the reset (reinitialisation) position on the speed regulator (do it by some tool because you cannot put the regulator to this position by the built-in plastic trigger). The reset position is in the top left corner (beginning of the clockwise circle)
2. Turn on the vacuum cleaner for few seconds (3s or so) and do NOT move by the regulator. In my case the vacuum cleaner started and stopped intermittently. Now turn it off.
3. Set the minimum position on the regulator. Now you can (should) do it by the built-in plastic regulator thing. Like I mentioned, it's not the absolute start of the regulator (the off position) but little bit more in clockwise. The minimum position is approximately the bottom right corner.
4. Start the vacuum cleaner. Wait at least 3 seconds to let the electric board remember the minimum position and after these 3 seconds you can normally regulate to the max position (the end of the clockwise circle), then back to minimum position or even to turn it off when you move it less then the minimum.
Hopefully, it will help to somebody else, like it helped me
BTW: I did it on Electrolux Super Cyclone ZSC 69FD2. I didn't know how to fix the board so I bought a new one in some eshop.Comment

by HenkeI have a vacuum cleaner that won't start. I have desoldered 2 capacitors with low value. But i don't know if they can cause that kind of problem. Someone here with any thoughts and inputs?
I marked the capacitors on the pcb picture with red and blue dots. The big one marked with 334 K measures 216 nF and the other one marked 224 K measures 109 nF.4 Photos -
by CrystaleyesSo, I have this Electrolux vacuum which had the batteries revently replaced and now it won't work.
The voltage from the batteries is arriving to the board without problem (+/- 12v) @ CN4 & CN6.
The motor works fine when voltage is applied to FM+1 & FM-1. The switching on and off is made in the negative line between CN6 and FM-1, and all components have been tested as fine apart from a FET.
The problem appears to be that the PHD71NQ FET (Q18) isn't switching when the power button is pressed.
I say this as when I started to connect my component... -
by AlexVGHi,
I have had an iROBOT i7 with a camera error (error 68) version REV M, year 2018.
I bought a liquid damaged Mainboard with WiFi module, from the same vacuum cleaner, but a different year and a different version (REV G).
(This board does not respond, only the LEDs light up in a circle.
The liquid damage is catastrophic and restoration is impractical).
(I bought this board to get the WiFi module and camera).
The boards are completely different in the installation of elements, even the connector for the WiFi module is different.

by sam_sam_samThis project that I am working on the Engraving Machine has been a challenge to make everything to work together
The information on the internet is hit and miss for the most part
It is a good thing that I know how and what it takes to hook up most micro controllers yes each model is a little bit different but for the most part they are the same
The BIGGEST problem has been the markings on these Arduino Nano Controller boards not all are the same some board are marked better than others
You see how I have to hook up the laser and Nano Controller... -
by BabbarHi all!
New to the forums, this is my first time posting so hoping to do a good enough job making sense.
I have two vacuum cleaners having the same issue of not being able to start on their own but when they get going (by manually shorting power to the motor on the internal PCB) they will keep running and also allow me to switch on and off again for a while using the power switch until the issue returns.
The models are below and i will attempt to attach pictures of both sides of the PCB from one of the machines (they look basically identical).
