Relay Satronic MMI 810.1 bad diode & Transistor

Hello and happy new year ,

my Analog Combustion Machine Honeywell gone bad and I don't know what type of diode is utilized.

There is no mark around the body of the diode. The Schematics are general referred only, without any electronics components and values.

The two contacts (2),(5) of the Relay Coil need 48 Volts DC to begin operating. Between these two contacts in series is the bad diode and near of contact (5) is the bad pnp (bc856b) Transistor that can be easily replaced.

I have made a diagram of the PCB and some measurements along some points.

Do you have any idea about what type of diode could be utilized ?

Usually a 1N4148 diode (150mA 100V) is installed in parallel with the relay coil.

Thank you for your answer Iotas, but here are in series not in parallel and that's why I can't really understand what type of diode need to replace..

This is in parallel with the relay winding!

Are you talking about this D4 diode?

But it stands in parallel with the relay.

Why in paraller ? Between contact 2 and 5 (which is the 48Volt relay) is the bad diode and as far I can understand it is in series, because the one end starts from contact 2 and the other end (of diode) terminates on the contact 5. Is that wrong ?

This is parallel, not sequential, like in the photo.

You need to understand what a parallel connection and a serial connection are.

Because the circuit is a bit difficult for my electronics level finding the voltage sources, and understand if the bad diode is in series or in parallel connection, do you believe a 1N4148 diode (150mA 100V) could make the job ?

Yes. The main thing is not to confuse the anode with the cathode; it will burn out instantly.

I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that...

Does anybody have any experience with these Burco units at all there is no record of them on the forum lol and a proper service manual would be nice. I invite you all to pesuade me not to botch repair it with a 5v relay, read on.

This unit was rescued from a skip 3 years ago, the only fault it had then was no backight display (plus it wanted a new probe set and top seal) but the screen was never an issue you can still see the screen as is and I just use it to get 5 Litres of very hot...

Hello, I am looking for help to replace a damaged diode. The tristar was replaced and a diode was damaged in the process. I have a picture of the diode but dont have an exact donor. I mostly have macbooks for donors and only a few ipad and iphone boards. Diode part number: DSF01S30SCAP
Im not sure where to find the ipad board number. Anybody have an idea where else this diode is used on other boards? Thanks....

Hello everyone, I'm repairing an LG TV backlight and I noticed some strange behavior when I touching the backlight strip with a missing Zener diode.

So I replaced the leds on the strips and they seemingly working fine, but soon as I touch the strip which has a missing Zener diode the whole backlight turns off for a few seconds and then turns back on.

Is this caused by the missing diode? If so what kind of zener diode should I use to replace it?.

                                  Hey everyone!

I've gotten this TV for free, neither have it seen a TV repair man, neither have it been opened before.

This post describes my entire troubleshooting process of this TV.

When I turn it on using the ON/OFF switch at the side of the TV, the light rapidly flashes green, then it stays on, but it does not react to any of the remote buttons, side buttons, and doesn't play audio.

I've taken the unit apart, and I've started to check some voltages:

                                  • On the P11 connector, there is 15V DC only for a brief moment, then it goes
                                  ...
