If that first character is a lower case b it could be a custom silergy part.

As an example,the SY8088I (SOT23-5) has the Top Mark: bPxyz (device code: bP, x=year code, y=week code, z= lot number code

You are not far from the truth.
But i have not found with this top marking any mps.
Top Mark : BCSB
Code product : BCS
B : year code

Is the top mark |BCSB, it might be a Monolithic Power Systems dc-dc step-down
for example, here is a MP1495DJ marked |ACSF
