    Best 1.8V Eprom Programmer?

Hi guys, I already have a TLL866CS and it has proved a very good tool, I love it and find the software very easy to use but it does not program 1.8V chips.

I know there is a 1.8V adapter for the TL866
    https://es.aliexpress.com/item/10050...46588439%22%7D

But if I get one of these do I need to install a different version software to add all the 1.8V Eprom types to the IC database?

Is there something else better for 1.8V Eprom rather than using this adapter wit hthe TL866, or some other advantage to gain if I get a second Eprom programmer to add to my tool box, that can handle 1.8V and maybe other things the TL866 can't do? Even if it costs a bit more.

I'm specifically interested in programming GPU BIOS chips.

    Thanks
    Rich

i would say upgrade to the new 866II+ - it goes down to 1.8v and the software is upgraded almost weekly.
and buy the BLACK SOCKET version.

Rather than get a 1.8V adapter for my TL866CS? Is that due to better software support for the 866II+?

Have you considered the SVOD3 programmer at all? Apart from doing EC's, I use it for all my SPI chips and it's switchable to 1.8V from within the software. If there isn't a chip supported, you can request for it via the app.

Looking for help with T48/TL866-3G programmer
              by boomshockpow
Hello! I have the above programmer. I work in IT and we wanted to work on some machines we are receiving back with BIOS admin passwords. Usually from takeovers that had IT departments that left.

I got the programmer today and have tried it on three different winbond chips. (an HP 840 G5 32MB and 16 MB chip and a Lenovo A485 16MB chip) All 8 pin BIOS ROM chips. One 32mb and Two 16mb.

Anyway, I am using the plier/probe connection that the kit came with to the only adapter it fits on with the programmer. The names on the adapter are similar, but not identical to what the...

The right BIOS Programmer - The right software (HP Elitebook 820 G1, 840 G2) no soldering, EC, DMI, ME
              by STKR123
              Greetings badcaps community,

I havent done this for a long time and want to start it all again, after some evil and annyoing illness.
So I apologize in advance, if some phrases might sound a bit like gibberish or illogical to you.

Im trying my best to fully describe what I plan to achieve and hope I was choosing the right sub-forum for my new adventure.

              I have a Elitebook 820 G1 and a Elitebook 840 G2 here.

These ask for a password when entering the BIOS, but boot just fine from the internal SSD.

              I learned that desoldering...

              TL866-3G programmer,bios chip 25B127DSIG which option should I choose?
              by leezhihao2020
              Hello dear friends,
I download the software for the programmer T48 TL866-3G
              my HP ProBook 430 G5 2VP86EA with
motherboard model: DA0X8BMB6F0 rev F and
              BIOS CHIP model: 25B127DSIG BIOS
              is showed there 4 times:
              25B127DSIG @DIP8
              25B127DSIG @SOIC8
              25B127DSIG @WSON8
              25B127DSIG @SOIC16
So I don't know which version should i choose if I used the test clip cable?
if I choose the wrong option, can it make damage to the chip or to one of the laptops while I used the test clip cable? because I have no experience in soldering....

              RT809H Programmer Firmware Corrupted
              by Teeheeze
This is a shot in the dark, but I was just using my RT809H programmer and it got stuck in a certain state so I power cycled it. Now, the device LED just flashes quickly and does not connect to the software. I've tried to update the BIOS of it and it fails. I went so far as to remove the ROM from the programmer itself but it's some weird chip (I believe ATMEL, but I can't find any datasheet on it) so I've been unable to read the BIN from it w/ my other programmer. Chip has ATMLHC4C56BM CN written on it (I think). I'll upload an image. I have the programmer's BIN ready to program it manually. Anyone...
