That will depend a lot on the type of components that you expect to use. The more generic your component choices, the greater the chance of finding a premade symbol (and PCB footprint) that will fit the bill.

[Note that there can be considerable variation in PCB footprints based on the preferences of the footprint's original designer!]

The more exotic the components, the more work you'll have to do for yourself (in creating the schematic symbol AND the PCB footprint). If you're planning on using MCUs, you might want to check to see if supported. AND, if supported in a "style" that is compatible with your drawing preferences (e.g., I insist on outputs on the right side of symbols with inputs on the left; you may find someone has lazily created a schematic symbol where the connections are just numbered sequentially as if "pins on a chip" with no regard to functionality)

You may also encounter symbols that are physically too large for the paper size you're hoping to use. So, you want to be sure the EDA tools let you split symbols into conveniently sized pieces that fit well on smaller sheets.

Second is am I able to once I know that the CAD board will work that I can send it to fab house and have 3 or 4 board made or more from the drawing that I made
Almost every PCB package will generate photoplots in a form that every service bureau will accept.

You may find that some service bureaus will cut you a better deal if you panelize your own boards though most will do that for you. Some will even PREFER that you leave it to them as they may put your design on a panel with someone else's (that you never see) so they can eke out more $aving$ to keep the price they quote you, low.

[I have some really tiny boards that are ideal for the service bureau to squeeze onto someone else's job so I can buy them in smaller quantities for a competitive rate.]

The extent of design rule checking (DRCs) will vary with the capabilities of the tools. Some are smart enough to increase the spacing between traces based on the potential difference between the signals inhabiting them. Or, may know to increase the dimensions of signal lines based on the current carrying capacity. For sure, you want the tool to verify the netlist agrees between PCB and original schematic (to detect broken nets, shorted nets, etc.).

Others are little more than etch-a-sketches and rely on you to make sure everything is correct.

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
        by Hakuu
        Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

        More Details

        TV Model - LG OLED77G1PUA

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

Sony Bravia KDL-70W850B T-CON board / software update issue
        by eclectric
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue before I give up on this TV.

In short, I replaced the T-CON board due to an error code indicating that was the problem, after which it flashed a green and orange LED meaning software update required. I cannot get the tv to do the required update via USB, so I am stuck.

Here is a rundown of the symptoms and the steps I have taken to troubleshoot:

I inherited the TV with the symptom that it would turn on, then turn off after 5-10 seconds and a red LED flashed 4 or 5 times. Sometimes it would be 4, sometimes...

How to test circuit board battery connection.RS-4i sequential stimulator
        by Crrose
Not sure where to post this but I have an RS-4i sequential stimulator that runs off rechargeable batteries and also has a VL2330 coin cell battery that retains the memory. If that battery doesn't hold charge or connection is bad then the unit will power on and say to recharge. Once it is charged it indicates it is charged but when you turn unit on it powers off saying to charge batteries. I replaced that coin cell battery and now it won't even indicate batteries need to be charged. I have tested the battery pack and it is fully charged at 6V but the coin cell only shows 2.97V which is a brand...

        Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
        by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
        CN6401
        Pin 01 NC
        Pin 02 NC
        Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
        Pin 04 "N/C"
        Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
        Pin 06 "GND": N/C
        Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
        by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...
