Help understanding "amux" of a power management ic

I believe it's an analog multiplexer but I'm not 100% positive of its purpose.

    Reason I'm interested:
Have an iphone with no display even with all the output voltages present from the display power ic u1501

The 1.8v lcm_enable rail is 1.2v which should be 1.8v

Only places that enable line goes to is u1501 and the amux part of u1202 which is the main power management ic for the phone.

Removed u1501 the enable line is still at 1.2v so u1501 isn't pulling it down. Also removed the one capacitor on that line and still 1.2v so it has to be u1202

I tried injecting another 1.8v to lcm_enable it pulled it up to 1.6v but still low and it produced half an image that was just a bunch of lines.

So that amux must control data or something related to display, but I'm not sure. Before replacing u1202 I'm looking for any info about it first as I couldn't find any datasheets for it which is usually the case for iPhone parts

Samsung UN50TU8000FXZC shows thin horizontal green line when warm
    by cubytus
    Hi to all,

I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.

I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.

Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...

GIGABYTE X299 AORUS ULTRA GAMING - SATA PORTS 4-7 NOT WORKING ???
    by DynaxSC
    Hi,

I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.

However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).
The SATA 4-7 driver network is quite simple chipset<->buffers/drivers<->SATA...

Activation of Management Engine after exchange Z590 chipset - ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS
    by DynaxSC
Hi, i have an ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS board, which had an shorted Z590 chipset. I have succesfully exchanged the chipset to a factory new one, however there is a serious problem with the Intel Management Engine (later on: ME) not beeing activated after the chipset device replacement.

For lower chipset families (on ASUS boards) it worked to program the oldest bios version into the SPI rom, and the bios had activated the Management Engine itself by default - there was a message on the screen prior booting - "BIOS is updating Management Engine ..... . Do not shut down to prevent...

    Kogan - KALED65XU9220STB - Blue Vertical Line
    by TrueSword88
    Hi all.

I have a Kogan 65' LCD Panel with a thin blue vertical line (top to bottom) on left hand side of panel.
The line just happens to coincide with the end of COF and start of the next COF (attached).

The line is permanent no matter what I've tried. I've tried pressure testing the panel (top to bottom) and all over, I didn't notice any difference with the line, either temporary or semi-permanent.

Also tried unplugging all flex cables, cleaned with isopropyl then re-inserting to no avail - line remains.

    Hoping to fix...

Running Line Voltage and Integrating LED Pods - Automotive
    by FALKLAN
Howdy everyone! I hope all is well where ever you are!

I'm attempting to integrate a couple of LED pods into an automotive reverse lamp circuit. The problem being, while the vehicle is running there is a 8.5v current present on the reverse lamp power wire. Needless to say is that all LED pods and lights dimly illuminate while the 8.5v is present, so the LEDs are always powered on while the vehicle is running. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the voltage changes to 12 volts.

I am uncertain how to convert this line into a switched 12v output line for the LED pods....
