    Re: LED flood light

So you go from 1W LEDS to less than 1/4 Watt (Those little T-1-3/4 WHite LED probably rated at around 50mA) for a lot less power and no heat management, make sense to me, why not making improvement to the original design instead of down grading to find out what really caused the failure in the first place.
BTW, there is no protection, no regulation, etc.
So is that Video showing improvement or poorly design lights?

      Re: LED flood light

      He try to fix it

This module was sent to me by a chap called Mike because it had failed in his new Beko fridge. It's interesting because it is possibly designed to be cheaper to use than a conventional lamp holder and LED lamp, while also ensuring maximum profit if a replacement is needed out of warranty. (£20 plus shipping at the point of making this video.)
So here's how it works, how to test the LEDs and decide if perhaps one needs bridged to get it working again.

Lithonia Lighting versus Light of America Compact Fluorescent product quality
        by sam_sam_sam
I have a Lithonia Lighting 65-Watt Gray Hardwired Compact Fluorescent

I also have back when Light of America had these light bulbs available for yard lights

The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail

While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure

So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last

I have only had this light fixture for not more than a year if it...

Strange! Acer laptop not powering on but charging the battery (orange light on when charger and battery plugged in).
        by serious_electron
        Hello Everyone!

I have an Acer Aspire A315-42 laptop. I generally leave it on for long time by closing down its lid (so it enters the sleep mode). Recently, it rained quite heavily in out area. And the humidity and moisture seem to be high. So one late evening, after I opened the lid and turned on the laptop, it did power on as the blue light turned on but after it booted to the desktop screen, just 5-10 seconds after both the screen and blue light went out and laptop shut down (the blue power light turned orange). And after 2-4 seconds that orange light went off and the laptop died.
