So the customer has to purchase the device to measure record the current? the base DATA has to collect info at various incoming AC since it will affect the current draw.
There are so many details,
Like I siad, collect DATA for juts ONE TV with different failure mode, record the time it will take and see.
BTW, the reason I am here is because it is full of FREE information.

The TV Database needs when people repair the TV uploads the current chart to build up the Database.

It is called Signature Oscillate Scope for analog, for digital called Storage Spectrum Analyzer . Picture is An example only.

My idea is A device with APP on cellphone to record the current pattern then the victims can send it to Badcaps for Veterans analyze the problems. The customers can upload the current chart to repair service center which can bring the right parts to their home do the TV service.

PS: The custom made ASIC device with APP, to read current cart, Badcaps sell for $20 all over the world If TV has no problem could be use as A TV healthy indicator or for TV insurance company. Who buy the current ASIC device will get lifetime unlimited Badcaps Veterans support.

Y'all are Veterans, who help people repair TV or contribute A new tips ( current chart) will get portion of the benefit of it. ( No more free support, of which needs ASIC current device, Less and less bad capacitors are on the TV, Time is Money.)....Don't bug me, it's only A suggestion.

Well if you do not do the experiment to validate the result, then how do you know what you are seeing on the meter represent, you have to collect the data and verify it.
"BUT..but I try to reach is kinda like MMR scanner" yeah, but some one already collect a bunch data so when you see th image you know what you are seeing know what it means.
"OK, The TV draw the same amount of currents but the timing will be different." if the TV is functioning normal, what the timing has to do with it and since you do not know which circuit comes on fist any way.
Like I said, do the experiment to prove you theory, simple.

BUT..but I try to reach is kinda like MMR scanner, I do not need to take off my clothes they gonna know what's wrong with my body, same as the TV doesn't need to open the cover also.

PS: When you push the power button of A PC, thousands commands being executed. Where is the BUG, needs use logic analyzer to find out at Nanoseconds when the errors caused!

The question is who is going to document all the possible faults and record all the readings, how accurate and details are the readings from the same make and model. 230V version will also have to be made.
Examples:
T-CON not getting Voltage, how sensitive will the AC A meter in the primary side will be able to show
No PFC is running the 24V supply is not running
Power supply is running but the LED boost converter not running
on and on and on......
You can also have two circuits that draw the same amount of current so if reading show less current, how would you know which one of the two circuits has fail?
To me it is still best to use the experience and good meter and knowledge. Voltage reading at the test point give you a lot more info, current reading does not really point down to where the bad section of the TV are, just my 2 cents and over 40 years of troubleshooting/designing electronics.
You should start experiment by collecting the info on one of the TV you have and simulate the typical failure modes and take notes of the readings.
Ask your self simple question such as TV has no backlights, what can cause the backlights not to function and go from there?
To me it will be nice to have the data base of the Voltage reading of the boards and the collection of the pin names of the connectors that have no printing on the board to tell us what the pins are for.

PS: The meter I use has 4 digits, $13, Power Energy Meter Watt Voltage Amp Meter Analyzer Monitor. If someone can write a program attach this meter to computer can draw a electrocardiogram for TV, It would be fantastic.

I have an idea is use AC current to diagnose the problems of the TV. No need to open the cover of the TV!

Example: Vizio E550i-B2

0 mA: TV fuse is open. (pic1)
14 mA: TV has DC 5v standby. (pic2)
162 mA: TV has power- on command but in shutdown mode. with a timing chart we can know it is the famous PCB connectors have bad connections.
1009 mA: TVs normally working current. (pic3)
1012 mA : You are watching porno! Detected by Cyan : 6% magenta :22% yellow:18% curren chart. This is my own conjecture.

We can draw a timing chart to match the problems. I said " I don't need TV technician anymore." with this idea, I argued with my TV technicians all the time.

PS: Badcaps Veterans help peoples fix TV is change to ..........Please upload your current chart ............OK! Your TVs problem is the PFC controller IC 201........

PS: If I monitor your current usage of your home, WiFi to an APP I can know when have you watch TV, open air conditioner, when have you use hair dryer after you take a bath and how long ...When you close light and go sleep ........is like A current spectrum analyzer to your electricity usage.
