A American's bug: Mark II computer at 1947,

A British's bugs: Mark 1 1943. Colossus was the world's first programmable electronic digital computer. British codebreakers used Colossus to help to read German coded radio messages during World War II.

The first machine, Mark 1, worked in December 1943. It solved its first problem at Bletchley Park on 5 February 1944. Colossus Mark 2 was even better. It first worked on 1 June 1944, just before the Normandy Landings on D-Day.

PS: "Colossus" used many vacuum tubes (valves).

PS: Mark I was designed in 1937 by a Harvard graduate student, Howard H. Aiken. It that possible US helps UK build the Mark 1 and 2 to codebrake Germans code? Anyway, We are bodies in WWII.

For $60 this picked-up, windows-7, Combat Bait-attached, Dell works OK.......................

PS: The solvent is Acetone. Yes, toothbrush was mine. single Phillips 1 screwdriver bit with Makita electric drill opened all the Dell in no time.
