    LCD Tab bond to pcb

    how would you fix this?

My understanding is, its not fixable.

Right now I got two long 1/2" strips of cardboard on the pcb using the frame to press down on it. It seems to work and it displays an image decently, you can still see vertical ghost bars on solid backgrounds with text or logo in the middle. But overall you don't notice it much unless you get something like the honda commercial.

Try heat transfer pads from Digikey.
You should post in the TV section.

      Redmi Note 12 ghost touch
      by unimatrix93
      Hello everyone.
This is a Redmi note 12.
The display has serious ghost touching issues, so severe you effectively can't use the phone.
I checked all the connectors under microscope, I even resoldered the digitizer's connection on the back of the screen but it did not help.
So I'm az a loss. Is it the fault of the digitizer? Or the mainboard/CPU?
Note: The display is in perfect condition, no cracks, seperation as far as I can see.

      Thank you!

      Generic Magsafe charger ghost touches
      by cruiser_
      hi there,
I am trying to fix my generic magsafe charger so that my old macbook does not get 'ghost touches'. When I ground the case with my hand touchscreen works fine, but without it I am getting erratic movements. The charger is class II - no earthing, floating ground.

      What I tried so far
      - add more capacitors to the output (from nF to 2200uF)
      - add RC filter to the output (different coils and capacitors)
      - change the Y cap from default 2.2nF to 1nF, 33nF and remove
      - bridge secondary and primary winding circuit with 4x10M resistors
      ...

      Tab Bond repair Philips TV
      by nicke74
      Hello guys

I have a philips TV where we accidently managed to damange one of the tab bond from the panel.
Maybe not the best picture but one part of the ribbon have come loose.
As far as I understand those ribbons are attached with special glue but since the majority of the ribbon still is attached I wonder if it is possible to solve the issue by myself or shoufl I judge this as a scrapped panel.
The TV is only 4 year old and I was fixing another problem in the TV when I accidently damanage this connection.

When reading the forum I think some guys have...

Ghost Battery Gate Opener battery took a crap tonight it refused to close gave me three beeps
      by sam_sam_sam
If I remember correctly this indicates a battery failure the other day I had to turn off the power going down the driveway to do something and forgot to turn it back on and the battery went dead but it charged back up and I thought everything was okay but apparently not because now it refuses to close and the battery power light and the line power light goes off when you give it a request to do something I have had so many devices that the battery have gone bad I am sick of it...
