Power IC identification from eDP to DP LCD screen adapter

    Hello,

I have tried myself but I have problem looking in chineese for parts at least what is laser marked here doesn't help me to even find someone from china selling that IC. I have managed to find SOT23-6 power IC which also is burned. For my guess it's probably DC-DC converter of some kind when plugged with known good LCD what comes extremely hot first is SOT23-6 power chip which I have managed to find at Ali and order like 50 of them. For some suggestion this board works from type C PD power supply 20V input.

I could buy another board, they are not particularily expensive but if I could fix it and just stockpile components which go bad when plugging faulty LCD that would be nice. I have bought those boards for testing LCDs before mounting because I had very unpleasant experience with client where LCD panel directly from supplier killed MB completely so it's cheaper to destroy coversion board rather than client's device.

I am looking for V1CNA chip or VICNA but I couldn't find anything.

Canon TS8350 Screen Freezes on Power On
        by joaquinmjuan
Hello, I have a Canon TS8350 printer. The problem is that when I turn it on, "CANON" appears on the screen, but it never goes away. You can leave it on for a whole day, and it doesn't go away. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried unplugging it, but nothing. I've also tried holding down POWER, but nothing. In fact, once it turns on, it can't be turned off with the Power button. I've also held down Power and then plugged it into the Power supply, and the power light flashes once and doesn't turn on, but then when I press Power again, it turns on. Currently, it's a nearly new paperweight,...

Panasonic Plasma TH-50PZ85U No screen No blinks on red power light
        by Alicat
        Hello,

Stopped by this site trying to fix my parents Panasonic Plasma TV.

        Model number is TH-50PZ85U

Power comes on and the red power light stays on solid.

Did a few checks like hold the power button on for 60 seconds, hold the - Volume while holding the menu button, no luck, still@ blank grey screen as the screen lights up very vague.

I also hear a few clicks.

I also think my parents said there was a thunderstorm and the TV failed after that.

Section 6 in the service manual talks about power and no screen,...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
        by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

        Assuming...

Acer K272HUL blue power light but black screen, power supply is ok
        by burntonnerings
Have had two Acer K272HUL monitors die with the same symptoms:

        - Blue power light is illuminated while the monitor is plugged in
        - Black screen (no splash screen, etc.)
        - Power button doesn't do anything

Opened it up and checked for bad caps and components, evidence of burns, etc. - everything looks fine.

        Power supply voltages are fine.

There are some signal lines on the power supply harness that goes from the power supply to the logic board, not sure what these should be at.

        Anyone have any ideas?...

        Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue
        by GLISIT
        Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...
