Capacitor Hour Rating

Could someone explain the hour rating of a capacitor to me? If one has a 2000 hour rating that doesn't sound too great but the good ones only have a 6000 hour rating which according to my math is only 250 days if I leave my pc on 24 hours a day

That is at their max rated temp

For every 10°C lower temp the capacitors life doubles

and for polymers i think it quadruples

That is at their max rated temp

And at their maximum rated ripple current. Mfrs used to publish multipliers for being operated at less than the rated ripple current, but I haven't noticed that recently.
