here is something very new
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua9z6Jw53OQ
It some really nice features one being it monitors the battery voltage and it tells you what current was used when you do a weld you can adjust the
Preheat time = 03 milliseconds
Pulse time = 13 millisecond s
The time when you have the welding tips steady then it fires intermittent time 10 milliseconds
One function that is marked Dots = 2
One note the preheat is very important function because I have several different battery operated battery stud welder and they do not have this feature or function and they just fire when you have the probes steady and then fires but the tab welding looks like crap and it does not penetrate the tabbing metal which this one does have this feature and function and you can see the difference in the quality of tab welding
I use just enough preheat time to see it glow for a fraction of a second then it pluses it and you are done and wait for the next time you hold still the probes
Plus you do not have to hold the probes that close together to get good results which is also a plusLast edited by sam_sam_sam; 07-04-2024, 12:00 PM.Comment

by razenxdHello,
it's not a laptop/desktop related question but I figured that someone here will have the right knowledge.
At work we use a few Aldebaran(now Softbank/United Robotics group) Nao Robots which they use some custom 6S li-on battery packs.
Nao robots tends to draw from the battery even if they are shut down, and the BMS tends to be a little aggresive, if the pack stays on a turned off robot for 3 months it's gonna lock and will refuse to charge.
Now, I have noticed a few things.
The "dead" battery, while connected to charger and NOT Charging will...-

by BowlineMy question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?
My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell... -
by sam_sam_samI have had this battery backup for at 2 to 4 years now and the battery when bad and this is weird battery size it is the same length as a 12 volt @ 7 amp hour battery however the depth of is not the same as a 12 volt @ 5.5 amp hour battery
I have several battery packs that are A123 batteries cell so I bought a lipo4 BMS balancing protection board for these batteries and I have a configuration that is 4S 3P these battery packs were 3S 2P so I reconfigured them but left the tabbing on one side of the battery row of battery cells and re-tabbed the other side to the configuration that... -
by sam_sam_samI have gotten so tired of battery cells leaking and it happen to this device and it is not very old I had bought these battery packs from The Electronic Goldmine for $1.00 a pack when they had a sale and I am putting 3 packs to good use so I do have to deal with leaking battery cells I am over it
I bought the label maker at Sam Club a while back for $29.99 it come with 4 cartridges and they had them on sale again for $29.99 again so I bought another one because I was not sure if I was going to able to get it to work on the battery cells that I had planned on using for this particular... -
by sam_sam_samRight now Battery Hookup has these e-bike battery packs that are used but I am going to remove them and test them and see how good they are and maybe resell or reused them for another project this is for another day
When I get the rack mounted enclosure that I mentioned in another post I will see how well they fit in the enclosure and how much room I will have left
https://batteryhookup.com/products/3...ttery-with-bms
These battery packs are a little bit hard to get out of the enclosure because they were a little bit glue... - Loading...
