i dont have a "registered" one.
i cant hack it because it's compressed.

you can run it in trial mode but i dont think it works long like that.

Don't seem to be able to get a working 'registered' 1.29 version...
Could you share your 1.29 version, please.
    Thanks.

    probably not a good idea.
when you use those you have to stop the host system from trying to access the chip at the same time.

the other thing is chip width.
    there are 2 sizes, narrow(150mil) and wide(200mil).
those clips are designed for the narrow chips usually like 24' series eeproms.
the 25' series flash chips are usually wide.

    this may be more helpfull

    read the old chip,
    save the file.

unzip that archive and load the .bin file into the programmer.
then erase the chip (you cant program a chip unless it's blank)
    then program the chip.

firstly, you ALWAYS save a backup of the original data - incase you make things worse.
then you can atleast recover to where you started.

can you upload the file you want to write.

    open the file "Config.ini"
change the language setting to say "language=1033"

the default path to open and save files is in there if you want to change it too.

o.k. for anybody who owns one of these.

there are 2 windows drivers to install.
    1: a virtual comport
2: a virtual parallel port and i²c driver

    then there are 2 softwares.
    1: the memory programmer
    2: the AVR microcontroller programmer

now as far as the memory programmer goes, the versions upto 1.18 just work
versions from 1.20 onwards need to be registered.

and i have 1.18 and 1.29 if anybody needs them.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------

btw, the key to finding this stuff is simply to use a chinese search engine - it's like turning on the lights in a dark room!
