    Hello

    Hello everyone,
I am a newbie, and just purchased an Auyoe 968 solder/desolder station and was wanting to know if I should purchase any more accessories to just work on installing capacitors for my own hobbies and friends systems on motherboards. I am retired (early retirement). and and love tinkering around with this kind of stuff. mabe getting a little side business going so I won't go stir crazy. Looking for some input. Sincerely, Jerry A Glenn

    Re: Hello

Hi Jerry. I'm guessing you have solder, flux, tip cleaner, solder wick, cap meter, esr meter, multimeter, magnifier, desk light, denatured alcohol/cue tips? These are the things I have plus what I thought was a pretty good supply of parts, but never the right one when I need it. I always buy extras of whatever I use just in case I need them again. I'm sure I left things out. I have a o-scope, but haven't used it in years. Actually have a few meters and testers I haven't used in a while. I'm sure you'll get more recommendations for supplies. Don't have to have em all to start, but I picked my stuff up as money or need arose. Welcome aboard
