    Samsung le32a456t1d. Bn44-00213a rev1.1 glue fault

Hello all. So i have this samsung for a few weeks ive been trying to work through the faults. I have made a little progress but ive stalled with it now.

So when i first opened it up i found the main fuse blown and a couple of wires links next to the main cap melted under the glue. It had also melted the leg on cm810. After more checks i found 2 shorted mosfets and also the bridge rectifier was shorted.

I replaced all them components. The fuse no longer blows and i have 5.22v standby. I have the standby light if i turn the set on i get five flashes from the front then it just turns solid red again. Also if i try to turn the set on again the red led does not respond unless i disconnect the mains for about 10 seconds and then plug back in.

One thing i have noticed is i always seem to have 385v on the main cap from the instant i plug in the mains power? Im thinking the must still be more damage from the shorts but could do with some guidence in tracking them down. Thanks in advance.

have you removed all the brown glue?
have you checked the standby transistor 1 o'clock to the power connector make sure its ok and no glue on it you may have to reset eeprom on mainboard

I removed all the glue best i could. Ok ive checked this. I tested on diode test. Its open circuit between emitter and collector both ways. It has .62v from emitter to base one with positive lead on base, open with positive on emittor. And it has .62v base to collector with positive lead on base open the other way. Does that seem ok?
