Possiable to add AUX out to This Sterio?

I wanted to see the possibility of adding a AUX out port on a Sony CDXF7710, then I will be able to connect it to my phones 3.5mm jack and listen to mp3's and stuff.

in the rear there is BUS Audio AUX In, and audio out, rear and front.

really? "bux aux in" has two RCA Ports White and Red. Already connected to something? Maybe my CD stacker in the boot? I dont use it though, what would you suggest? maybe I disconnect the "bux aux in" and plug in a RCA to 3.5mm Jack?

if you see the attachments... it looks similar to this..

And the "bus control in" port also seems to be connected to a wired connector, I haven't traced it yet but I suspect maybe I have a Sony XA300 or something under the dash? I'll look under the dash tomorrow.

Yes, that aux input is likely connected to the CD changer. If you don't use that, then just use a RCA to jack cable and plug it into your mp3/phone. It will work just fine.

          Are you sure?

          Look here

          http://www.mp3car.com/car-audio/1402...-hack-mod.html

i did some more reading and it seems that just connecting a RCA to Jack converter wont work? I will still need a Sony Unilink Adapter, something like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-CD-Radi...item4155cf8ff9 and only then it will work?

So I am left with two options either get a XA300 or the Sony Unilink Enabler.

Is there any way I could hack and solder an AUX In there to trick it into playing my mp3/phone?

            Just use one of these:

            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-MP3-PL...item4d02bd5a75

            or

            http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FM-TRANSMI...item35a79f225e
Do NOT touch heatsinks when testing for voltages as they may be LIVE!

I think Th3_uN1Qu3 may be correct if you read this
              http://www.ps2netdrivers.net/manual/sony.cdx-f7710/

Scroll down to the PDF document ( for some reason couldnt just link that)

Then providing you dont have CD jukebox connected and just want to plug in an mp3
then you seem to just need a cable that fits your player and the Phono? sockets on the radio. You then select AUX from the radio source button, But I may be wrong?
