    lg power supply keepsblowing the internal fuse

    any help from you wise and wonderfull guys please I have a lg tv that keeps blowing the internel fuse the model is a lg 32ls570t 16 months old the power board is a lg p/n eay62512401
    pcb:eax64310001(1.7) when the fuse is replaced and tv main lead attached fuse blow straight away please help thanks in advance

      thanks could you tell me what it looks like I no capacitors risistors it sparks from a round dics tyre of thing near the fuse

        Sounds like you really know what you are doing - can you update your profile with country and mains voltage so we dont blow you up

        A good clear picture of the power board wouldnt go amiss as we are going to have to point components out.

        try googling Thermistor if its a green disk and bridge rectifier for later

          sorry I am in the uk (burnley Lancashire) and 240 volts

            when you go into a 240v psu you deal with 365v dc

              The bridge rectifier should be mounted on a heat sink. It looks like a black rectangle orientated horizontally with 4 legs. Is usually located near where the AC line comes in.

              If you're seeing sparks from a disc, as mentioned earlier, that might be a thermistor or something similar. What is the part number silk screened onto the circuit board below that part? For example "C705".

                dont forget you are dealing with high voltage, you should be very careful and you should know how to use ELECTRONICS METER to test such component
