Asus x75vd schematics or boardview, power problems

    hello ppl

i got asus x75vd with bios password
removed bios, fixed dump, soldered back, and laptop wont turn

since im sure bios is ok (dumped old, confirmed model, fixed) i look at the board markings and repaired with web update (its same when i write backup back)

i can hear squeal sound from board and power ic RT8206L getting very hot
replaced ic with RT8206B and all the same
i have a short somewhere, will try to isolate lines by removing coils

what might be that squealing sound?

    any help pls

here is boardview but i dont have points to download

RT8206L is for 3.3 and 5 volt ? i would first remove coil related to that voltage. 3.3 or 5 volt if it's 3.3 and 5 volt regulator and see if it still get hot.

if yes u could try remove 4 mosfet that are related to it and take measurement.

      post results.

        hi, bro
RT8206L getting very hot, so ldo voltage is short to ground, check if the ec is shorted, remove pj3001 to isolate kbc.

@2mahmmedrah OpenBoardView does open FZ files but you need to add the FZ key in manually. You can find the key if you get on the IRC channel.

                                      Hi,
I shorted the RT8206L chip when controlling voltages and the ldo under it on the other board side smoked. Are you aware of the ref of this part please ?
Because the short, do you thonk the mother board and processor to be dead or should I change the 8 legs mosfets near the RT 8206L ? Short and xmoke were made with battery and not the transformef plugged in...
                                      Thank you if any ideas
