I cant do anything without a password and need to find a way to bypass this. Tried also some pages that give you a password for the system code but still nothing. What can i do to fix that? I did everything. Removed batteries for an hour and no reset on the password.

The laptop's keyboard is querty so no way to do a mistake there. Tried both enter and Ctrl+enter. Wont unlock.

I downgraded this bios, the password is gone, but the laptop takes a long time to start up. I suspected the ME Region but cleaned a few ways to no avail

The same effects. Long time power on. I tryed version BIOS 1.20 1.11 and 1.07 and no results.

update as usual via windows or dos after downgrade and remove password , flasher need to recheck checksum and reconstruct bios mods like his way , few statrs after normal flash will be slow , maybe 3-4 restarts should speed up spash checks.

                                        Hi,

                                        @SMDFlea - the bios file you uploaded 7270 1.11.3 ME_CLEAN.BIN.zip it's GENERIC?

Or you need my BIOS dump also.

I have the same issue with 30-40 second till DELL logo apears on my DELL E7270.

                                        Thanks,
                                        Balint

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                                          Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
                                          - takes long time to restart.
                                          - sometimes powers on and then off
                                          - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.

                                          by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. Help with BIOS update on Dell G15 5515 after chip replacement

I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.

The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...
