Ault 5 volt @ 5 amp power supply change to 3.0

I have a lot of these power supply
I would like to know if the set voltage range is 4.75 to 5.75 is it possible to change the range to 3.5 to 4.75

4.75 volts might work if I use a few of the LM317 in the current mode but I really did not want to have to do it that way

I would like to charge some Lipo Polymer batteries and some li-ion batteries and yes I am using the protection board that came with the batteries

I have a lot of these types of batteries and I was thinking of a project that I would like to make but charge them is a problem I do not want to have a bunch of wall wart for one project

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      Assuming...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
      by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

      After all of...

I am in need of a 21 volt switching power supply with at least 5 amp capacity
      by sam_sam_sam
I would be open to a 24 volt @ 5 amp switching power supply that can be adjusted down to 21 volts permanently and the over load protection is still functional and low voltage cutoff 15 volt or higher if necessary

I would rather not have to use a buck converter to get the voltage that I need

So is anyone else that has successfully modify one for a slight lower voltage had good results willing to share with me the safest way to accomplish this task

I googled for a 21 volt switching power supply and did not find very much information for switching power supply...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
      by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

      Cyberpower cps1500avr not charging batteries
      by carrzkiss
      Hello, all.

      Cyberpower Battery Backup Unit.

I bought two new ML18-12 batteries through Amazon (They have already refunded my money for the two batteries as we thought the batteries might have been bad.)
When I got them in, they were not fully charged. I connected them to the UPS and waited 24 hours before connecting any networking equipment.
In parallel, they read 24v, but within 24 hours, the meter on the front of the unit dropped from 4 to 3 bars on the battery charge indicator.
Checking the voltage, it was down to 22v.
      I quickly removed everything...
