YAEGO Caps - are these values good?

Hi,

i found only Yaego caps at my local supplier, can i use them for recapping?

Specs sheet:

I need caps with the values 1000uF_6,3; 1500uF_6,3 and other.

are there more values I have to look on? How relevant are the ripples and esrs?

Yageo is a big resistor company that bought teapo. Basically, Yageo caps are rebranded Teapo.

Now, Teapo isn't the worst, but I would not use them to recap motherboards. They do OK in power supplies, but larger numbers of failures have been noted on motherboards.

Tell us where you are located and we can see if there are any online stores that serve your country who sell quality japanese caps.

which caps do you want to replace?
ESR and ripple are very important!

i want to repair some older Pentium3 Motherboards for practising, after that I have planned to repair some broken Pentium4 Boards and after that I have a broken K8 board.

additionally I have two PSU's with broken caps (one 200 watt fujitsu from one PIII Computer and one 600 Watt Tagan PSU)

over all I have over 10 different Motherboard with cap-problems to repair, mostly asus, asrock gigabyte, msi, nmc and fujitsu from very old PIII to AMD K8

the problem is that those caps serve different purposes and the replacement caps need to do the job.

If you could take pictures or tell us the markings on the cap, it would be easier to help.
For motherboard vrm output caps you'll need to look at mouser.de or digikey.de for example.

The OST RLZ are cpu vrm output caps.
You could replace them with: Rubycon MBZ,MCZ, or Nichicon HN,HZ.
The rubycons are sold at on this site and the Nichicons should be available at mouser or digikey.

The KZE caps are United Chemicon which are considered reliable.

The OST RLS woud be replaced by rubycon ZL (there should be more similar, but I'm rather new here.)
