    Re: Netflix On Demand?

I always keep a programmed hard drive in my case but unplugged just in case my primary goes down on me. I was thinking I had a PATA or what ever its called 133 drive as a backup in there right now. Just checked and I must have gotten my drives mixed up, and put somebodies junker drive in there as a backup. This isn't the first time I have done this...LOL I wonder who's Dell PC has my good drive in it now? I think my good backup drive was a Maxtor so I still may be ahead of the game. This drive is the Enhanced IDE Hard Drive WD400BB-OOCJA1. I have a Barracuda drive around here someplace too. Don't know the specs on it but I will when I find it again.
Both these PC's run the exact same programs. But my wife has added about 40 plus games on the GX150 that she has gotten from an online site she belongs to. All I have running are my basic programs. I don't know if this is good or bad but my processes are around 21 at idle. While I'm online my processes go up to 35. When I go offline and back to idle they drop to 21 again. I have the P4 drives all set to CS. There is one 60 gig WD600 drive on the end of the primary IDE/PATA ribbon wire which is 87 percent free. There are two DVD drives on the secondary IDE/PATA ribbon wire. The wife's Gx150 is set up the same way except it has two hard drives on the primary, and two DVD drives on the secondary. Dang it! Come to think of it, my good backup drive is in her PC right now! Her old Maxtor D drive took a dump a few months back and I put my drive in her PC so she would STFU!

There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

      Samsung UE75MU7009TXZG Endless Power Cycle

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.

Since a few days, the TV won't turn...

playstation 5 crashes and cuts off while trying to playback a dvd movie
      by kjchatman
the disc drive works perfectly because i can install games with it and it can read the movies.I can never get it to playback a movie disc. it goes to a black screen and sometimes a green screen then the console shuts down. It does it every single time i try to play a movie. The games also do the same thing If I don't start them up immediately after the console boots up. I've tried factory resets and replacing the ssd controller and the southbridge but nothing has resolved the issue

My horror movie continues.. "70X690E Power Supply- the Sequel - Attack of the Backlight circuit!"

This was my initial thread.. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-m-at-wits-end

(All the Electrolytics are brand new.)

I started a new one, hope that's ok, because my question is different now! (Strangely enough, after I walked away for a few weeks, it stopped lighting up at all!!)
I am determined to fix this power supply because I have the skills to replace bad components, I just need to find out...

Design of CCFL Backlight Inverters with Frame & Bar Cores

      Summary

Portable devices, such as notebook computers and personal digital assistants are developed rapidly nowadays, which places an increasing demand on display technology. The LCD with cold cathode fluorescent back lighting satisfies the requirements on display performance, size and efficiency.

The backlight inverter plays a crucial role in supplying the power to the lamps of these flat-panel displays.

The frame and bar ferrite cores, described in this brochure, are especially designed...
