the reason is that i kept uninstalling Kodi clean, and the only way i could uninstall it clean was to delete the perfectlogs that had the name Kodi,other wise i kept uninstalling it and all files addons and so on were there upon install,i scratched my head figuring it out,Comment

I didn't know Kodi kept its config files there, something new learned.
I think you've answered your own question. I don't think there is any need to delete the whole folder although it shouldn't do any harm if you do. Just deleting the required files within is all that is needed.Comment

you need to delete the c:\Users\[your user name]AppData\Roaming\Kodi directory, thats where the adons and userdata are stored
not the perflogs dir

The perflogs folder is populated by generating a system health report, it is not created by kodi
when uninstalling kodi there is a small box to check to grant permission to delete the profile directory, if you do not check this box the uninstall will leave all your settings, addons etc.Last edited by R_J; 06-20-2017, 01:33 PM.Comment

My Toshiba laptop stopped at the Toshiba logo when starting up, I flashed the bios and fixed it. Fortunately I had also backed up the data folder on an HP laptop with which in the meantime I reinstalled Windows 10 on the Toshiba hard drive using it as an external drive with which I am able to start the Toshiba after the problems solved.
The real problem now is when I copy and paste the data folder from the HP back to the Toshiba hard drive, again using it as an external drive on the HP. In fact, when I put the disk back in the Toshiba, it tells me that The folder is empty but in... -
Copying DMI information from an old bios to a new one is difficult for some members, often they have no experience with a hex editor,or some that have tried find it too hard.There is an option to make things easier for those members so that they don`t need to post their own bios backup for the DMI copying.
Experienced bios modding members can help by posting in other threads the DMI offsets,macro script generated by the software and a download link to the software at softpedia mentioned in this guide,or post your macros in the comments here with a link to the bios request thread .... -
macbook air mid 2013 A1466 problem with question mark folder.....when i took out the ssd it take around 40-50second to show folder after chime sound...but when i put the ssd back, took about 4-5minutes to show folder....what could be the problem?

Hi,
I have 0 experience in iMac so would like your assistance starting diagnosing this one.
When switched on I can hear the Apple chime and display stays white. After a few minutes a folder icon with a question mark starts blinking on and off.
Any help much appreciated. I have found a youtube for disassembly procedure.
