In other news, it's discovered that outsourced tech phone support is crap.

I've been advising the customers of mine to hold off. Windows 10 wasn't finished by it's release date they're still issues they are sorting out now, for the majority of users their OS makes no difference to them.

I'm still encouraging users to stay with windows 7 and avoid anything newer....reminding them that 7 is supported by MS until 2020. I also tell them how to get win7 to quit pestering them to downgrade to 10. Only one didn't heed my advice, and went from 7 to 10 on his laptop. He brought it to me a week later begging me to reload 7 after his attempt to do their rollback failed.

For my systems, sure....I still have a couple XP systems in the fleet....but for the dumbass end user, I wouldn't recommend it anymore. You have to pay attention to things to keep it secure these days.
