In search of advice for flashing bios via efi shell

    Hi Badcaps,
I'm having the same Notebook and problem as in this topic:
    HTML Code:
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/troubleshooting-laptops-tablets-and-mobile-devices/bios-requests-only/3601016-need-bios-for-clevo-pd50pnp
I'm assuming that flashing the provided bios in this topic would solve my problem.
The only thing i can boot to is EFI shell
How do i flash the bios image in the EFI shell ? / Can i use any flash.nsh or is the executable interconnected to the bios image? ( i cannot find any bios related files in the internet for the clevo pd50pnp besides the above mentioned images)

Round'about: can you give me any advice how to apply a bios flash for this very expensive piece of electronic trash i'm sitting on at the moment?
    Any help is very appreciated,

    Cheers

Well, since there's very limited data on this Laptop and Problem:

I managed to unbrick the Laptop without using a chip-programmer and want to share how to do it:

1.)You want to enter the efi-shell. I did it using a bootable usb-drive that i created with rufus with systemrescue on it:
    HTML Code:
    https://www.system-rescue.org/Download/
2.)make sure you create the usb drive in iso mode, so you can still add files.
3.) add the the .efi provided from here to the usb disk you created:
    HTML Code:
    https://www.badcaps.net/filedata/fetch?id=3601018
( just copy and paste it to the usb drive)
4.) boot into efi-shell and execute the .efi file from 3.)
Bios should start to flash, after that you should be good to go.

    cheers

      limited use,
if it's an intel system the ME (management engine/ israeli spyware) wont let you flash the ME section.
so recovering a corrupt system really needs a full-flash using a chip programmer.

HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2523nd - Dimm2 slot disabled after corrupt bios repair? Advice requested.
          by Bloodhoundje
          Hi everyone,

I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.

I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.

After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.

I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

          X270 - Bios flashing help
          by Timeeez
          Hello everyone,

I am still a beginner and want to learn more about flashing bios. First of all, thank you very much for the tutorials made on this forum it helps a lot.

Lets get straight to the point. When I try to flash the bios of my Lenovo X270 it restarts several times and always returns to the bios that was there at the beginning. When I get the bios from someone on the forum and write it to the bios chip, I always have the same serial numbers. I have the feeling that the pc is reflashing itself. Where could this come from? How to avoid this problem?
