    Windows question

    if you have a dual display setup and windows bluescreens does it show on both screens?
    Things I've fixed: anything from semis to crappy Chinese $2 radios, and now an IoT Dildo....

    depends on the GPU. I've seen some BSoD on both displays, and others that BSoD on the bootstrap (or primary) display. Anytime one hardlocked, both displays simply became inoperable (obviously).

      ok, yeah that makes sense. the desktop is in kernel space.
      i ask because i have had a vistrash install get trashed on my uncles laptop and when i forgot to disable USB boot in BIOS it tried to boot from the failed install and bluescreened in the process, which i thought i had seen on both displays but i wasn't sure that could happen. thanks for the answers.

        From what I've seen usually ATI\AMD cards do dual-screen post\windows load\BSOD whereas my nVidia cards newer than the 6 series all seem to be one-screen-only. Something weirdly cool about watching Windows load and such on two screens if you ask me.
