    Autocomplete?

    Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if other people could view passwords and logon details through thier own Windows XP account if I had enabled autocomplete for my passwords and user logons. Some people told me that other people in thier own user accounts could use my logon details etc. because the information that is saved in my account is visible to all other accounts??.... Is that true or am I hearing complete nonsense yet again??

Unfortunately sometimes I have to School computer (by logging on to my personal account) to check out my email and logon to badcaps.net to see if anything new has come around.... I'm just not too sure about the security because of autocomplete......

    Thanks.

    Re: Autocomplete?

no it should not be visible in other accounts. still care should be taken when using a public computer for banking etc or if you are logging onto anything where you have dangerous permissions. the usual idea is to change password when you get home. who knows if public computers are compromised or not.

personally i would have autocomplete off on a public computer or choose not to save passwords.

      iCloud macbook account M1
      by PITERPENY
I've been wondering for a few days now. Where is the account information stored on a MacBook with an M processor?! Previously, this information was written to the T1, then to the T2. Serial numbers in the EFI chip. I'd like to know how this is implemented on M processors. Is the account on the SSD or on the chips that are on the processor itself?!

      Hi
Got a new board to repair dead set.

customer had some paid accounts that wants to reuse from old board as he has no more access to the original email account for some iptv and other services like Disney etc. Are these stored in spi flash?
I guess they are in a Samsung account storage area.

      MacBook Pro M1 Activate Mac

Sorry,I'm using my phone right now and couldn't find any search bar to search on the topic of macbooks.
Few weeks back(mid may),I had bought a MacBook pro m1 A2338. It belonged to my friend's younger brother who was a graphic designer,he gave me this MacBook without any icloud account linked to it and I had so much work during that times that I only used it for storage while traveling for shoots (I'm a photographer). So long story short, his brother got involved in a bad accident and was in coma and then fairly recently they pulled out his life support. I mistakenly did an erase Mac and...
