    Dragging pictures from Aperture

My iphoto crashed, and my son gave me a copy of Aperture, which works just fine.
The problem is that when dragging pictures from Aperture to any other place [spare HD or a flash drive] they are automatically reduced in size - to around 30-40 kb or even less [if the original file is small].

    What's the problem?

When I export, it seems to work OK [also something funny with some files...].

I've been reading through some Internet information for Mac, but still can't figure this one out, damn it!

      http://mac.bigresource.com/Aperture-...html#i5oOUz14b

When I drag picture files from Aperture to desktop or any external device, the files get drastically reduced in size.
      Even when I export them.

Got to work around this problem.
Saved my pictures to a new folder in desktop, and then copied them to the external HD.
Some old pictures [without master information] did not save.

But the original problem still persists: when dragging from Aperture, the files are drastically reduced in size - and I don't know WHY!!...

LG 55UH6150- trouble powering up, then half lit screen (pictures!)
          by valvashon
The 55" LG has been in the basement for a few months without being used. Turned it on yesterday, set came on as it should and showed a complete screen for about 5 seconds (was on a broadcast channel but no antenna was connected), then the screen went mostly dark with about 1/3 of the screen on the right lighting up with brighter lines in that lit part (sorry, no pictures of that). Power LED was cycling too, preventing the TV from fully powering up.
Pulled the back off, all boards looked OK. Pulled the LED connector, turned the set on to see if it would power up but I don't belive it...

          SVOD4 PCB pictures + parts
          by 2elw
Hey, I find it very absurd that the SVOD4 costs so much and has zero documentation. I had no other choice than to buy it to unlock ECs, if there was any documentation or firmware avalible I could've made it or something simmilar. Anyways here are some of the most important parts:

STM32H723VGT6 MCU - It's a microcontroller by STMicroelectronics and its the whole brain of the SVOD4. It has flash memory for the firmware which can be updated by the SVOD4 program. Its also powered by the AMS117 which converts 5v into 3.3V. 7€ on AliExpress.

          GW1N-UV9UG169C6/I5 FPGA - Its a...

Taking Pictures Of Large Circuit Boards
          by VitalComputing
          Hi friends,

I am trying to take good quality pictures of rather large desktop motherboards for a project I'm working on. I had a brilliant idea of scanning them with a flatbed scanner I have but it only focuses on the bits of the board that are flush to the scanning glass. And the through hole components tend to lift the main board from the scanning glass. Everything else just looks out of focus. So it seems that that option wont run.

I have been capturing the images with my iPhone 11 and it's okay but wont capture the whole board. I have to grab it in sections and...

Vizio M557-G0 1/2 panel VGHD LC1 (and maybe XON VSSQ LC2) Problems
          by howardc64
          Failure Symptom

No Display. Just random blocks of grouped vertical red lines.
Disconnect right 1/2 panel (rear view), left 1/2 displays properly

          Masking T-Con Signal Diagnostic

Reduced masking to 5 signals on right 1/2 panel and get perfect picture

          Pins are

          1 GND
          2 VGHD
          3 XON
          4 VSSQ
          5 LC2
          6 LC1

VGHD and LC1 masking is absolutely necessary to get working panel. Didn't unmask 3-5 individually.

          Pictures and Schematic

          XON, LC2, LC1 are on AUO s302-21 32pin QFN...
