Re: Viewsonic VA1912w-3
1) If you search for VA1912w service manual, you will find
https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...f5aba57d69.pdf
2) Post clear focused pictures of your boards using the manage attachments function and please do not post inline.
3) For best picture quality and clarity take your boards to a window on a sunny day, turn flash off, and use macro mode. Take a top down view of all your boards (front and back). Make sure the photo is legible so that we can read the PCB printing clearly. A shutter speed of 1/125 or faster will produce nice clear focused pictures. Try to get a photo that is 2000x2000 resolution or as close as possible.
Here is an example of the pictures we want.

4) If you want help, pick one (1) monitor and start with it. Trying to troubleshoot all 3 at the same time is difficult for us to help and keep track of.
5) Do you have a multimeter?--- begin sig file ---
If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

by lostoneHello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.
First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...-

by TrumanHWFor years I tried figuring out how to R|W BINs from my CH341x programmer.
From FTDI's pkg, Apps specifically claiming they work, I failed for ~8 years.
I'd expect many here figured it out (easily), but in case not ...
It's one of the few forms of "how-to" remuneration I can GIVE BACK.
This group is both GENEROUS & literally BRILLIANT / GENIUS!!!
This may be the easiest means to copy-paste:
Code:SERIAL -to- USB - CH341 ROM (MacOS): Install xcode: xcode-select --install Relocate
