I would like to thank everyone responsible for this site! Because of the information provided here I have repaired 3 Apple Emacs and 1 G5 20 inch Imac Isight replacing the caps on the logic board.

I have a gigabyte board that was pulled from a computer with a bad power supply. This board will post with a new PSU but won't go into bois, flash utility, or detect any drives. None of the caps look bad, but I'm going to replace them all anyways. Wish me luck.

Actually I'll add to this because I was going to post and say the same thing, I love this place but so far have pretty much lurked - in fact I liked someone here when they didn't believe me that their Bestec PSU in their eMachines was junk, they haven't responsed to that ;-)
