SamXon? It does look a little prego but some circuits won't provide enough power for a bad cap to really gas up and go really plump. I'd test it and outright replace that lousy brand anyhow.

How do I find a defective RAM chip
          by rumpumpel1
I have a ThinkPad T14 which always finds an error at a very specific address during a RAM test. I therefore believe that exactly one of the RAM chips on the mainboard is defective. How do I find this defective RAM chip?

          NVidia bumpgate
          by piernov
Just archiving everything related to bumpgate since most stuff has disappeared from Google. Maybe people will finally take the time to read some of it and stop shouting "reflow gpu" at every occasion but rather try to understand what the real issue is…
Interesting parts about the failure analysis are "Why Nvidia's chips are defective" and "Why Nvidia's duff chips are due to shoddy engineering"

May complete this post at a later date with more details.
Basically issue is a combination of thermal dissipation of the chip with hotspot,...

Philips 55OLED803/12 HDMI ports "half" defective
          by Wittie
Hello everyone, Please excuse my poor English, but I'm using Google Translate ^^ I'm having a problem with the HDMI and USB ports on my 55OLED803/12. It's no longer possible to connect an HDMI device and see the picture. No matter which port I use, it only recognizes the device as an input source and displays it in the list (BD player, Fire TV, etc.). However, the actual picture doesn't appear in the same state. My home theater system also runs via the BD player - it still receives a signal and plays the sound correctly (e.g., from the TV program or an app like Netflix). This works with both HDMI...

Correct procedure to disable defective onboard RAM on Lenovo T14 gen 1?
          by NoRelax
          Good day,
In my hands I have a Thinkpad T14 gen 1 (20UD002BIX) showing sporadic BSOD issues caused by failing onboard soldered RAM. I suspect disabling the onboard RAM via a bios mod would do the trick.
The laptop has already the latest updates as well as latest bios 1.51 as of today.
I informed myself in an attempt to DIY my way to victory but it left me with more questions than answers. This is not a BIOS request, what I really need is somebody to verify that the following procedure is correct.

Step 1: grab a bios image:
          - Method 1: from the official website:...

          For BGA reflow experts...
          by Davi.p
I have attempted all sumed very few reflow processes, and i need to make it better, how do you make yours to have sureness that the balls are really fully reflowed? My temptation was always to do "the slight move" touching very gently an angle, but due to some cases, but maybe 100%, where the previously half working device became totally shut off, i finally understood that the damn "move" makes the balls shorted, so what do you suggest?
          Thanks!.. Muchas gracias.....
