    Capacitor identification

Well, I don't have a picture of the capacitor at the moment but I was given a capacitor with these characteristics. I was wondering what it means.

The capacitor is axial, made of polystyrene I believe ( it is translucent ). As well, on the capacitor, there is a value marked 33 with an F under the value and above the value. I believe this means 33 pico farads with a +/-1% tolerance? Correct me if i'm wrong. There is also a pink stripe around one end of the capacitor. What does this pink stripe mean?

EDIT: Actually here is a link to the picture of the capacitor.

Sorry. Didn't realize that. the picture was huge so i had to reduce it significantly

33pF with 1% tolerance sounds right to me. Only way to know for sure though would be to check with a meter.

Since voltage is not marked in numbers on the capacitor I am guessing the Pink band is used to represent the voltage rating instead.

          Hi there,

Beginner's question, sorry to waste your time...

I'm not certain of the values for the capacitor highlighted (on the picture with the tape) as I am seeking a replacement. Am I correct, looking at the schematics) to think it is a 33 pico Farad (pf) 25 Volts? The size seems to be 0201 from what I can assess and when I try to source a replacement, I'm struggling to find one and it doesn't look like something common.
Any help or suggestion welcome. This is on an Asus FX506H Quanta NJJ DANJJMB1AA0 Rev 1A...

          RTX 3080 FE Identifying capacitor
          by Prolog
Hi people, I hope this is the correct spot to post this, I'm new to the forum.

I have an RTX 3080 Founders Edition which has a burnt up capacitor (it was in parallel with another capacitor which appears damaged too), so I am hoping to be able to identify the capacitor values and order replacements.

I hope these photos make it clear which component I am referring to:
(yes, the soldering is a bit botched from removing the blown one, I know)

I have found the board schematic (attached), but there does not seem to be a boardview available. I have never...

          LCD TV Green/Pink screen problem
          by jimjoe123
I have a Dick Smith 37" LCD TV, Model GE6804. I am using it as PC extended monitor only.

Problem is while watching tv, I hear a semi loud click(like a electrical breaker tripping due to overload, just sound like it but no actual electrical overload), then screen is covered with green or pink. I can still see the original picture image but overlayed by green or pink. See attached images. Pink.jpg is what I see, and Normal.jpg is before green or pink screen, What I captured was pink screen, but about 80% of time it's green and 20% of time it's pink.

          Then each time...
