    Bad polymer caps

    Has anyone here seen bad polys on a motherboard before? I haven't personally. The only time I've heard of it is on a thread in the Overclockers Australia forums, although this case appears to be caused by a badly done mod.


    I believe these are 'Elite' brand polys

    No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

    because of Mobo Vmod incorrectly, any brand may got *BOOM* *BOOM* ..., Hu Hu.

      I realise this particular case was caused by a bad mod. I was just wondering if there were any cases which do call the reliability of a particular poly brand into question.
