    Looking for a replacement cap for 820-2532-A C7252

    I'm working on a 820-2532-A and have found a short across C7252 (PP5V_S3_REG, 5V out). I introduced voltage across C7252 (using an external power supply) and only the cap felt hot. When I removed C7252 the short goes way. When I measure across the cap that is removed from the board it does not measure are hard short (low resistance) but when I apply voltage only across the cap it draws alot of current from an external power supply, so I know this cap is bad. I am trying to find a replacement for this shorted cap. On the 820-2532-A schematic it list the following info about this cap:
    C7252 = 330uF, 20%, 6.3V, POLY-TANT, CASE-D3L-SM1.

    I contacted Mouser and they couldn't find a match but did reply with
    T520Y337M010ATE025 10V, 330uF, 20%, KEMET Tantaium Capacitors - Polymer

    I would like to know thoughts

    That might work. You need to compare the case size on this datasheet, https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...7c2224d66a.pdf .

    Alternatively, check to see if Digi-Key has T520?337M006ATE0##: The "?" being whatever case code matches the size of what you are trying to replace, and "##" being the ESR (the lower the better). IOW, get the lowest ESR they have in the B, V, D, or Y case (whichever matches).

    Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.

      I looked at the datasheet and it seams to be the correct size, I also showed my co-worker and he says it's a 2917. I ended up ordering 10 - 6.3V and 10 - 10V.
