Whats inside a Capxon LP?

So it didn't fit as an attachment. I found an LP that sounded..odd?

did the roll blow up and break off but not explode cause this has an "explosion protection" as the datasheet says

Ah I see, the roll was on two flat leads, allowing it to knock back and forth

Hello everyone, this topic is more of a knowledge sharing and look inside type of post, but for someone working on this model of display it might be useful. Recently I bought Acer Nitro XV273 XB MIIPRZX with busted electronic, but screen was intact, price was incredibly low, so I took a gamble and bought the unit and try to fix it. As I dug inside, I found out that my motherboard was not responding, although all voltages seemed fine. For today's thread, I have a KingWin ABT-650MM ATX PSU. Official web page with the PSU specs is still up and can be found here:

I just can't help it when I see a broken / for parts PSU on eBay that's listed for cheap and looks at least somewhat interesting. Well, OK, I won't lie – on the outside, this PSU looks anything but interesting. It's a plain gray box with colorful “spaghetti cables”.

What mostly drew me into buying it is its 2x PCI-E power connectors...

Black tape in the mainboard inside apple's devices

Hi everybody.
i'm looking for the black tape inside apple's devices.
Is the tape tha covers the shield on the mainboard. when you take it out, loses the adhesive.
It is very thin.
can somenone help me to find it for a better repair?

How to bypass hp pavilion laptop booting only if battery is inside ?

Hi everybody .

I have a hp pavilion dv 9500 ef laptop that i think is designed to boot only if battery is inside , and my battery is dead .

Any way to bypass it and make it work from power brick only without the need of a battery ?...

Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....
