    Tayeh Replacement Recommendations for mobo

    Hey guys - Recapping an Epox BX3 motherboard with about 38 TAYEH capacitors. I have them all extracted and their values recorded. I'm looking to order (digikey) and am a bit blind on ESR/ripple for these old caps.

    I haven't found any data for the bit of Googling I have done of these guys. Figured some of you have most likely replaced Tayeh caps at some point. Open to suggestions for manufacturer/series since I don't have an original ESR/ripple to go on.

    ---
    6.3V 1000uf - "LE." A917 on some, C925 on others. Height: 14mm, Width: 8mm. Spacing: 3mm. (attached photo)

    16v 100uf - "MI" or "HI" D940. H: 8mm, W: 6mm, LS: 3mm

    25v 10uf - "RB" D940. H: 11mm, W: 5mm, LS: 2mm

    16v 330uf - "RB" D915. H: 11mm, W: 8mm, LS: 4mm

    Those have the same markings as Evercon caps. Evercon made LE, MI, and RB series. Tayeh might be another GSC/Evercon/Sacon brand.

      If possible, use Panasonic FM.
      At lower values (AFAIR 6,3V/820uF) they are equal to Nippon KZG.
      Though they might be a bit on the large side...

        Thank you for your replies.

        lti - Hmm. Going with Evercon as a possible Tayeh alias and using the series and dimension values I have, the sheets say:
        -----
        6.3v 1000uf (8x14) "LE" - 1000mA @ 100 kHz & 0.050 Ohm ESR

        16v 100uf (6x8) "MI" - max ripple current: "70?" Is this for 120 Hz? Chart isn't as detailed as the LE datasheet. No coefficient table. General Usage.

        25v 10uf (5x11) "RB" - 30mA @ 120Hz. Coefficient to "10K" for up to 47uf is 2.0. So ripple is 60mA @ >=10kHz? General Usage.

        16v 330uf (8x11) "RB" - 285mA @ 120Hz. Coeff: 1.5. So 427mA @ >=10kHz General Usage.
        -----

        I assume the 6.3V 1000uf low ESR series is really the only one I should try to nail down for specs, but I can try to guard for minimum ripple (if that is a thing) for the MI and RB series replacements. Really, I just want some quality replacements that are affordable for those.

        Stefan - Panasonic FM is actually the series I was browsing before my initial post. Unfortunately, they are a little too large - as you suspected. I have used FM in other applications. Sad that these won't work.

          I think Panny FR might work - EEUFR1A102L - if I allow for one extra mm in height. I have three caps that sit next to the AGP slot & would be right under the heatsink. They are my only concern.

          The difference in lead spacing for straight (3.5mm) vs cut tape (5.0mm) really threw me off when filtering. I wish digikey wouldn't use those measurements for the same "lead spacing" in their database. Make a "lead spacing (tape)" category, dang it!

            That is about the height of an AGP connector. Unless the video card is poorly designed, those caps will be fine.

              Awesome. Thanks for the confirmation. I dropped one of the old caps into the holes and thought it looked good.

              Order is placed. Look forward to recapping the guy. Even dropping some slightly nicer stuff into the general purpose spots as well.

                Panasonic FR clearance. Whoa.
