    Part ID question

    Hi all,
Ran into a part I don't know the OEM or type.
    Attached is a photo.

Not the big orange caps, but the little ones near the center, that look like they were intended for through hole pc mount.

This is part of a modulator for a Harris broadcast transmitter.

    Thanks in advance.

If you drop a broken egg you will not get an egg that's new?"

      Re: Part ID question

I see the Orange Drop and CDE silver mica caps, but not sure about these ones.
Label is 4.7M or 47M 50V which is too small in value for film caps?
It has 3 camel humps like maybe ferrite bead inside, square base. Hmmm.

              Pete,
Apparently the prior maintainer of this transmitter went out of his way to screw this thing up. So most anything can happen.

                STJ and company,

I passed on your answer and the others to Earl, one of my shop mates who is doing the actual work.
Was able to find a vendor for the parts.

Many thanks to all for the heads up.

They look similar to these Sprague .047uf 50V Monolithic Ceramic Capacitors

I think they are Sprague disc capacitor, Z5U 50V 20% nothing special.
                    A 0.047uF one is 7CZ5U473X0050DC

                      Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

Panasonic part number in service manuals
                      by Yanleb
In the Panasonic service manuals, both in the board schematics and in the part listing, the part numbers that are given are Panasonic part numbers instead of the actual part numbers.

This is especially annoying for small SMD components like diodes and transistors when you only have 1-3 digits printed on the component body.

For an example, look at the attached PDF.

Do you have a way to cross reference the Panasonic part number with the actual part number?

                      Thanks....

Trouble to identify part (Lunii screen) for replacement
                      by FreakyMex
Hello guys. I'm a complete noob in electronics. I'd like to repair my child Lunii's (a "story box"), basically an audio player that allows the childs to choose between several options the places, characters, objects of the story, and then play a story according to the choice of the child. There is a screen that display the selected option before each choice. The Lunii fell and the screen is now broken.
I'd like to repair it (probably just have to change the part, because the lunii still works perfectly fine) but I can't manage to identify the part/order it online. Do you have any...
