    Need capacitor help

    Hello,

I need to replace a capacitor on a board in a Panasonic VHS/DVD recorder.

The capacitor is an Elna, 6.3v, 1000uf, 105 degree. What is throwing me off is the letters RJX which does not match any current Elna series. Was it perhaps a discontinued series?

Anyways, can someone help me select a correct substitution? If the RJX is incinsequential then a comparable is probably an easy find.

    Thanks,

    Allen

PS. The capacitor in question is the one with the corrosion in the photo. It is also bulging on the top which is not readily apparent from the photo. When these player go down it's usually a bad capacitor according to the interwebs. Hopefully that is what's the problem here.

    it's probably very low impedance.
