    ASUS motherboard problem

    Hi
    I have one ASUS m2n68 plus motherboard, when i switch on power supply cpu fan spin for few second then stop. After pressing ps-on switch nothing happen.
    I visually check all caps, all look like ok. what anything else, is there any capacitor problem or bad chip like sio chip or anything else.
    please help.

    did you try another psu?

    if you did then check the motherboard for shorted fet's near the cpu

      Remove the 12V 4-pin connector for CPU power. Does the PSU turn ON with the motherboard showing no video. If YES, you very likely have a shorted MOSFET on CPU VRM. If not, then there may be a shorted MOSFET elsewhere *OR* your PSU may be bad.
