    KQC Brand? - and Fake Sanyo's found from HK.

    Anyone know who-where-what about KQC ?? ??

    I've ID'ed two sellers of fake Sanyo on eBay (both out of HK).
    The one I bought from pulled their listings after I contacted eBay.

    Here's the other one.

    They both also sell/sold the KQC brand which have the same colors (green and gold) as the fake Sanyo.

    - The gold is much darker than the legit Sanyo.
    - The vent is wrong. - A 'Y' instead of a 'K' shape.
    - ESR was 3x what it should be for WG series.
    - Sanyo doesn't list that uF/size combination.
    AND SO, I sent samples to Sanyo and they confirmed it. -> Fakes.
    Sanyo also mentioned the Bung is wrong and the internals are rolled differently than their caps.

      No surprise, there is many of fake Sanyo capacitors in my side and mainland China. I am no idea for KQC brand, never seen it.

          Replacing Fake Sanyo's in a SMPS

          I have a cheap chinese T12 soldering station that I really like and use a lot. It has (clearly) fake Sanyo WG caps (1000uf 35v) on the secondary side that I'd like to replace with authentic caps. What should I use?

          They are 10mm width but could probably squeeze in 12mm caps and they are super short for a 1000uf 35v cap but I could probably fit 30mm max height.

          It also has an unpopulated spot so I assume 3 good ones can make up for two. I have some KZE 35v 680uf. Even with three would I be okay on capacitance?...

          Hello,
          has anyone use these Brands of solder balls? The brand BEST writes on the label of the jar the specs of the solder balls instead of the Mechanic brand. I beleive that BEST brand must be more professional (in labeling at least) but I have never try one of them so I would like your opinion. By the way I hardly can I find the Mechanic brand in aliexpress (the only where I found was lead free solder balls) and on ebay these that I found are approximately15USD per jar. If you know any other trusted brand of solder balls please tell me.

          Hello, i'm looking for an original SANYO SKT-433-130 to repair a subwoofer. All "brand new" i've found on ebay (and similar websites) are fake and do not work.

          I know sony used to use them on many late 90s and 2000s systems and active subwoofers, but they are too many to purchase on a guess.

          Is there a good reliable way to get them? it doesnt need to be brand new, but working.
