Sparkle nvidia 9800GT and Sacon FZ capacitor

    Hello,
I found a blown capacitor on the video card in object and I detached it with a soldering iron.
    The capacitor is a FZ7A 1000microF 16V.
I already read a thread about these Sacon FZ series on Sparkle video cards, and from there I know that the ripple current is 1800mA.
I already read the thread about where to buy capacitors.
I would like to know if this capacitor in the next link could be right to replace the blown one:

    Thank you for your help

no problem electrically, just make sure the distance between the pins is the same.
btw, you should replace all FZ's - but you probably know that from other threads.

Capacitor detached from PCB – RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition

      Description:
During maintenance on an RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition, I found a capacitor lying on my desk after reassembly.
I did not notice it detaching, so I am unsure of its original location on the PCB.

      Procedure performed:
      - Removed backplate
      - Cleaned heatsink and PCB with isopropyl alcohol + soft ESD brush
      - Reapplied thermal compound
      - Reassembled card

      Observed behavior after reassembly:
      - GPU powers on and operates normally under...

      NVidia bumpgate
      by piernov
Just archiving everything related to bumpgate since most stuff has disappeared from Google. Maybe people will finally take the time to read some of it and stop shouting "reflow gpu" at every occasion but rather try to understand what the real issue is…
Interesting parts about the failure analysis are "Why Nvidia's chips are defective" and "Why Nvidia's duff chips are due to shoddy engineering"

May complete this post at a later date with more details.
Basically issue is a combination of thermal dissipation of the chip with hotspot,...
