  • Re: PSU bad capacitor 1000microF 16V

I didn't find any code on the CS capacitor, but I bought an equivalent capacitor at a local store and I soldered to the PSU:
    it is functioning again.
I spent a fraction of what I could spend to buy a new PSU and I also made a fraction of garbage that I could produce.
    I am very satisfied.

  • PSU bad capacitor 1000microF 16V

    Hello,

I am trying to resurrect some PSU:
In one of these I found a bulging GL (?) 1000microfarad 16V capacitor, in another PSU I found an identical in these specs and dimensions CS capacitor in visually good shape, you can see in the attached photos.

I don't have an ESR tester, can I try to solder the CS capacitor in place of the GL one?

    Thanks for the help
    Leonardo...

  • Sparkle nvidia 9800GT and Sacon FZ capacitor

    Hello,
I found a blown capacitor on the video card in object and I detached it with a soldering iron.
    The capacitor is a FZ7A 1000microF 16V.
I already read a thread about these Sacon FZ series on Sparkle video cards, and from there I know that the ripple current is 1800mA.
I already read the thread about where to buy capacitors.
I would like to know if this capacitor in the next link could be right to replace the blown one:

    Hello,

I am from Italy, I was searching the web for info on capacitors and I found your good forum. I hope to learn a bit about this world.
