    Re: Caps above 25 V?

May be related to the temperature, there's quite hot in the engine compartment or dashboard…

And I think the ESR difference is not that signifficant to be more than like 500 hours with regard to the temperature.

I'll ask for the pricing in future, if it is still not that bad, I'll take them over the KY. I think I won't get YXM for better price, not in reasonable numbers. And it occurs to me they are corss-reference as the specs are the same!

EDIT// just did the math. For example if the LE 4.7/50 will be 50 % more expensive than KY, it would cost 2 CZK a piece from me (8 US cent). Both the KY and YXM cost 6.25 CZK from Digi Key. Is it so bad?

No that's very good, if you can get them in small batches though...

You'll have to work your charm with the supplier
"We have offered them (the Arabs) a sensible way for so many years. But no, they wanted to fight. Fine! We gave them technology, the latest, the kind even Vietnam didn't have. They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, 'Save me!' He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them."

Batches of 5x11 are 3000 pcs, that's reasonable.

As the specs are rather similar, I'll take them instead of the KY next time…don't think it would matter for any circuit if the ESR will be 1.8, 2 or 2.2 ohm…

I also received 4 KMZ 390/420 D25.4x40 mm. These just have shorter life, 2000 hours only @105 °C. Weasel will take some four, the remaining ones will be available if anybody needs.

If there would be demand I can stock 200 pcs. I can use some from time to time to upgrade units I review and have small primary capacity (especially when they have short hold-up time). But not so many and it goes expensive to let them rotting on the stock.
