Life of capacitors

This is probably a noob question but I saw that some capacitors has rated life, here for example it says only 2000 hours, that's nothing!

Some caps don't even have that rating, so how can I know if cap will last for years or more like 15k-20k hours?

Yes that's right, 2000 hours... but that's at the testing condition: at 105 degrees Celsius. Likely your equipment runs much cooler than that. A rule of thumb is that the lifetime doubles every 10 degrees Celsius cooler, so a 105 degree Celsius capacitor running at 35 degrees Celsius will last almost 30 years.

I see, yeah it will run a lot cooler than 105C.
