    Lelon

I've seen this brand often used in monitors and som TV's, even found (and replaced them) in my BK Precision 8502 electronic load.
I can't figure out how bad (If bad) this brand is.
Would be interesting to hear from people who have SEEN this brand go bad,
within an an resonable time. Not just people thinking "ohh, I heard Lelon sucks).
Really want to know how their caps are.
    Thanks in advance
    Christian

    Re: Lelon

The newer lelons are ok and I have seen them run for years in tvs but the older ones are prone to fail seen alot fail on a p4 mobo I would suggest you replace them as they are ticking time bombs.

      Re: Lelon

      Yes,

My motherboard audio circuit had these caps on it and the sound was all wonky, like it would be completely mute and then maybe only the very low frequency sound would play intermittently.

After replacing them, the on-board sound now works perfectly.

Though I don't have an ESR meter to test them to prove that they're indeed bad.

        Re: Lelon

Lelon are replace-on-sight junk IMO, like Fuhjyyu.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

            Do people still overclock?
            by eccerr0r
Yeah it's free speed, but do people generally still overclock their computers risking instability, using more power/cooling, etc. or have people simply accepted stock speeds or perhaps it's pretty much impossible to overclock in general because CPUs are already at its limits, or perhaps it's not possible without surgery, ridiculous cooling, or signed firmware hacks nowadays?

Wondering if I should run my 2.67GHz C2Q at 3 or 3.2GHz and risk instability or corruption during the summer months as it's nice and cool now during the winter...

            Random people pinging your computer...
            by eccerr0r
I do have a website but it's not for general use. Definitely not doing any e-commerce, and at most it's just general computer information if it has any value at all.

However I noticed that people are sending ping requests to my computer, constantly. In fact I get around 8000 individual ICMP echo requests a day though each IP sending them send multiple packets.

I set my computer to stop replying to them to see if it would stop. Nope.

What value is there is to sending these if I don't respond to them? Anyone have similar data?

            Just curious of what...

Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen3 stuck on "To interrupt normal startup, press Enter" screen
            by BMCappelletti
            Hi everyone.
Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 3, stuck on the "To interrupt normal startup, press Enter" screen.
Found a lot of people with this issue, but with no definitive answer. Some people managed to get away accessing BIOS, going to Startup and turning off "Option Key Display". For me that only removed the interrupt normal start up message, leaving only the Lenovo logo.
Most people say hitting Enter does not work. It's true, if you wait a few seconds. But if you hit Enter right away you get the options to enter BIOS (which works), run diagnostics (goes to a...
